    Dexter Ong is Head of Asia for Wattpad Studios. He oversees Wattpad Studio’s expansion in Asian markets, working with local entertainment studios, producers and writers to turn Wattpad stories into film, television, print and digital projects.

    Wattpad is the largest social storytelling platform in nearly every market on the planet, with a global community of more than 65 million users, including more than 17 million people in Southeast Asia who spend billions of minutes on the platform every month. The company has previously partnered with the TV5 Network in the Philippines to co-produce the Wattpad Presents anthology series. The show produced 250 episodes based on Wattpad stories.

    Previously, Ong was the Director of Corporate Development for 21st Century Fox Asia, where he developed corporate strategies for production and digital video products.

     Prior to 21st Century Fox, Ong was with CA Media, the Asia arm of The Chernin Group, where he led content development for NET TV.

    Based in Hong Kong, Dexter received his undergraduate degree from the University of Cambridge.

    Pratik leads integrated marketing communications (IMC) including Creative, Content & Design, Digital, Packaging, Shopper Marketing, Social Media, Social listening and publishing, Sponsorship Excellence across The Coca-Cola Company’s ASEAN 10+ markets, leads various Global charters and incubates innovative and creative marketing solutions for the entire brand portfolio of the company.

    Pratik held leadership roles in many global ad agencies prior to joining Coke. His 18 years of industry experience covers stints in India, South East Asia and Greater China for Grey Group, McCann Worldgroup, Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB and Lowe.

    A strong advocate of creative technology & collaborative innovation, he founded Grey Innovation lab as Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer for GREY GROUP Greater China. Prior to joining Grey, he was the Chief Strategy & Innovation Catalyst at McCann Worldgroup, Greater China where he was highly regarded for his integrated creative strategies and disruptive ideas in design, branded content and digital technology led innovation on brands like Puma, L'Oréal Group, MasterCard, Nestle, Intel and Coca-Cola.

    Before moving to China in 2007, Thakar was Deputy Managing Director and Chief Strategy Officer at McCann Worldgroup Malaysia (South East Asia).

    Thakar is a recipient of multiple global awards such as H.K. McCann Global Award for Strategic Leadership, Cannes Lion, One Show, D&AD, AME, EFFIE and CLIO. He has also been on the jury panel for the prestigious red-dot Product Design Awards, Jay Chait Awards for Strategic Excellence, (American Association of Advertising Agencies), Global EFFIE, AME and New York Festivals.

    Hans’ foray into the marketing field began when he was casted for a TV ad in the Philippines.

    Twenty-four years and a few digital disruptions later, Hans now works ‘behind the scenes’ as Chief Operating Officer at BBDO Greater China - one of the few in the industry with a background in Account Planning, a field which he continues to lead at the agency.

    Under his leadership, BBDO’s China campaigns have won over 40 local as well as regional strategy/effectiveness awards including multiple golds at the WARC Prize for Asian Strategy as well as a WARC Prize Grand Prix for Social Strategy. He was also Campaign’s Greater China Planner of the Year in 2013.

    Prior to joining BBDO, Hans was Vice President and Head of Planning at McCann Worldgroup in Manila where he helped establish the agency’s best-in-class strategic planning capability. He also drove pan-Asian strategy for Unilever’s Take-Home Ice Cream business & Coca-Cola’s ‘Coke-with-Food’ campaigns. In 2006, Hans was cross-posted to McCann Worldgroup offices in Toronto and New York.

    Hans began his marketing career in market research – first at The Coca-Cola Company, and then at TNS (both in the Philippines).

    Myki’s crystal ball was working well in 2003, when he launched Canadian-born VICE Magazine into the Australian market.

    Operating in only three countries at the time, the underground magazine has since expanded into the world’s leading youth media brand, with a global footprint in 30+ countries across mobile, digital and linear platforms.

    Myki then served as Managing Director for VICE Australia, overseeing the company’s expansion into the country’s most influential youth media company and Media Brand of the Year at the 2017 B&T Awards. He orchestrated a defining partnership with SBS to convert free-to-air TV channel SBS2 into SBS VICELAND in November 2016, now featuring VICE’s award-winning programming. He has also developed VICE into Australia’s most awarded in-house branded content studio, working with preeminent brands such as Google, Ebay, Schweppes, BMW and Air New Zealand.
